• Zebra ZD220D does not use thermal transfer ribbon like its conterpart, Zebra ZD220T thermal transfer printer.
• It is important to note, whereas Zebra ZD220T has the ribbon option, it can has both direct thermal and thermal capability allowing you to operate with any transfer ribbon like the ZD220D.
